Quench your thirst for all things ocean-related at this year’s Ocean Film Festival
The Ocean Film Festival World Tour brings the world’s best ocean-related independent films to Australia and screens them in local cinemas around the country. Every year, the Ocean Film Festival screens over 2 hours of the most inspirational, educational and entertaining films related to the ocean from independent filmmakers both international and Australian. The goal is to inspire people to explore, respect, enjoy, and protect our oceans.

Each screening features a unique selection of new films of varying lengths and styles covering topics such as the oceanic environment, marine creatures, ocean-related sports, coastal cultures and ocean lovers.
This year’s offering includes the film NORMAL GUYS. Adam Hamerlik and Piotr Poprawski had a dream to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a five metre long, self-built yacht. They set off completely unsupported, without weather updates or contact with those on land and with little sailing experience. These middle-aged corporate workers from Warsaw were determined to sail over 3,000 nautical miles together, and nothing was going to stop them from achieving their dream.
