Designed to educate and inspire local community groups and community members alike, Take 3’s community programs teach people about the causes and effects of plastic pollution and inspire action that can trigger systemic change.
Surf Life Saving Clubs Program
Educates Nippers, Cadets and Seniors about the problem of plastic pollution; provides resources for running beach clean-ups and reporting marine debris data, and inspires youth leaders to protect coastal and marine wildlife.
Community Supporter Program
Enables local groups and organisations to run their own clean-ups, and organize fundraising activities and other events to support Take 3. Community Supporters are provided with the tools and information to speak on behalf of Take 3, inspiring more people to action on behalf of the ocean.

Seaside Scavenge
Join us on Saturday 28th of October in Mosman for a waste education event where litter collected from local beaches becomes a currency to purchase pre-loved goods that have been donated by the local community. Alongside performances by local musicians there are talks and stalls hosted by community groups working in waste reduction and environmental conservation.
