Want a taste of Take 3 for the Sea Resources without signing up to the Ocean Classroom Initiative?
Download our FREE online resources that explore ocean ecosystems, the global plastic pollution crisis and the power of individual action. Designed for delivery by teachers, the program sees students explore and strengthen their personal connections to the ocean.
The resources feature six visually-compelling short films that vividly illustrate the content, offering an inspiring exploration of key themes within Take 3 for the Sea’s education curricula. These themes include connection, the natural systems of the ocean, human impacts on marine environments, and solutions at individual, local, and global levels. Additionally, the program provides twelve meticulously-crafted lesson plans, developed in collaboration with Cool.org’s expert team, aligning seamlessly with the Australian school curriculum and supporting the cross-curriculum priorities: Sustainability, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures.
Elevate your students’ learning experience with our immersive and impactful incursions tailored for primary and secondary school classrooms. These engaging programs bring the wonders of the ocean directly into your educational space, fostering a deep connection to marine ecosystems. Our captivating presentations, interactive activities, and thought-provoking discussions not only educate your students but inspire a sense of responsibility for our oceans.
School incursions are available in the Greater Sydney and Greater Hunter Regions of NSW Australia, and the Greater Melbourne and Geelong Regions of VIC.
