PLEASANT STATE REVOLUTIONISE IMPACT: RAISING FUNDS FOR TAKE 3 THROUGH WORLD FIRST GROW + TRACK IMPACT PLATFORM

Official supporters of Take 3 for the Sea, Pleasant State have launched a world-first platform that allows their customers to refer friends and track their community’s communal impact in real time like never before!

Created by Sunshine Coast entrepreneurs Ami Bateman and Sian Murray, Pleasant State pioneered Australia’s first ‘just add water’ cleaning bars to help forward thinking Australians reduce their use of toxic chemicals and single-use plastics in their homes.

The female-founded, Australian based start-up, have been long-time supporters of Take 3, donating 2% of all sales to date. But now, the pair are taking it another step further with the launch of their ‘Referrals Reimagined” campaign. As part of the campaign, every time a customer refers a friend to switch to Pleasant State, they will give that friend $10 off their first order and also donate an additional $10 to Take 3 for the Sea.

The launch of the platform was inspired by the belief that by taking that first step, one person can have a positive impact and spark change. In 2022 Pleasant State are on a mission to prove that; “It takes just one…One person, one switch, one share, to make a whole world of impact.”

Pleasant State’s ‘Referrals Reimagined’ platform does just this, by allowing customers to refer friends and track their community’s impact in real time.

Co-Founder Sian Murray said: “Our customers switch to Pleasant State to help the planet and their health. So we’ve reimagined referrals to focus on growing our collective impact instead of financial gains. Our customers have told us they’re not financially motivated, so we’ve replaced the standard referral model with an impact solution that means $10 will go to Take 3 for the Sea every time someone is successfully referred”.

The roll out of the new platform is all part of a strategy that looks to support Pleasant State in achieving their impact goals.

By the end of 2022 Pleasant State aims to have saved 150,000 single-use plastic bottles from landfill, generated 75,000 litres of toxin free cleaning and raised over $35,000 for their aligned charities.

To get started on the revolutionary platform, customers simply need to create an account at pleasantstate.com and start referring friends. They can then track the impact of their purchases and referrals in real-time in terms of the total plastic bottles saved, litres of toxins removed from your homes and total amount donated.

Take 3’s interim CEO, Jenny-Lee said: “Take 3 is thrilled to be part of Pleasant States revolutionary impact tracker not only because the funds donated will support the development of our educational programs and the removal of plastic from our beaches and waterways, but because the ripple effect has been at the core of Take 3 since day one. At Take 3 we believe that when simple actions are multiplied, complex problems can be solved, and that’s exactly what the amazing team at Pleasant State are doing”.
