Community Screening

Supported by expert facilitation & behaviour change education.

A Take 3 Q&A turns a film screening into a practical, measurable community engagement tool that helps councils:

1. Accelerate behaviour change.

2. Strengthen social licence.

3. Deliver on 2030 plastic reduction commitments.

Australia is now the 2nd largest producer of plastic waste per person in the world. We are the plastic country. And it doesn’t have to be this way.

About The Film

The Plastic Country by Kal Glanznig investigates the plastic crisis in Australia, revealing the hidden threat to health and the future.

From remote coastlines to wildlife hospitals and Parliament House, Glanznig uncovers how plastic pollution is infiltrating ecosystems, politics and human health.

The documentary aims to shift the focus from an environmental issue to an immediate human health and national policy priority.

Approaching Two Decades of Community Engagement

Founded in 2009, Take 3 for the Sea is a movement with a simple idea: take 3 pieces of rubbish when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere and you’ve made a difference.

For 17 years we’ve mobilised millions worldwide and are now embracing new technologies and solutions built for system-level impact.
