Joining forces with Rolling Sets Festival, Take 3 are hosting a Community Beach Clean-Up and free BBQ lunch at Gallows Beach, Coffs Harbour on Sunday 26th of January 2020.
The clean-up kicks off at 9am and presents a wonderful opportunity for the Coffs community to pay respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on a day of such significance. This act of caring for Country will ensure that no trace of pollution will be left on the Land of the Gumbaynggirr peoples, who have cared for this Land and Country since the Yuludarla or the Dreaming.
The agenda for the day involves an introduction to the Take 3 movement and talk on the plastic pollution crisis, followed by a clean-up and waste audit. The event wraps up with a free BBQ lunch for all attendees from 12-1pm.
Whether you are a Coffs Harbour local or are travelling to Coffs Harbour for the festival, our event is open to everyone who wants to help Take 3 clean up the oceans! For more information check out the Facebook event and click ‘attending’.
