I AM SUFFERING – Part II
One million seabirds die every year as a result of plastic pollution. After only 70 years since mass production began, plastics are everywhere and in everything – not even humans can escape their pervasiveness.
Plastics are in the water we drink and the air we breathe. Researchers have found that humans are consuming up to 2,000 pieces of plastic every week, the equivalent to the size of a credit card.
125 trillion pieces of plastic pollute the world’s oceans today, yet we produce more new plastic now than ever before. This has to stop. YOU can be part of the solution.
