Dana Lopez officially joins Take 3 ambassador team

Take 3 for the Sea is thrilled to announce international model, sustainability consultant and Take 3 advocate, Dana Lopez as an official Take 3 ambassador.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, Argentina, 30-year-old Dana travelled the globe working aboard in both America and Europe. The international model made her way to Australia where she fell in love with the seaside at first glance.

For the past six years, Dana has spent her time free diving, surfing, and swimming in Australia’s eastern waters, while passionately advocating for ocean conservation.

It was when Dana first arrived in Australia that she came across Take 3’s Instagram and decided to take part in her first Take 3 clean up, on Sydney’s renowned Bondi beach.

“I was shocked how much rubbish was collected in just one hour! After that clean up it was only obvious for me to take on the educator role,” Dana said.

Dana has dedicated countless hours to Take 3 through volunteering at our beach clean ups, as an educator in schools, as well as presenting her story at the Take 3 Youth Summit 2021, at Taronga Zoo.

“Spreading Take 3 message with our future leaders is such a rewarding experience. Take 3 has such a simple message, I love sharing it and inspiring others to contribute,” Dana said.

Last year Dana discovered an exciting new professional direction after studying environmental management and sustainability at university. She has since dived into the corporate world of sustainable consultancy.

“I love how working in sustainability allows me to share that passion with my clients and with people through social media,” Dana said.
