4 Pines partner with Take 3 to become first official beach clean-up kit stockist in Australia
Take 3 for the Sea are delighted to announce 4 Pines Brewery Co as our newest partner and first official beach clean-up kit stockist in Australia.
Starting this World Earth Day (Thursday, April 22), 4 Pines venues will sell Take 3 Beach Clean-Up Kits for $32. Each Take 3 clean-up kit includes the supplies you need to safely clean-up at your local beach all in a Take 3 Tote bag. In addition, 4 Pines are providing three bonus pint vouchers (worth $36.00) to every kit, to be enjoyed at any 4 Pines venue.
Using business and beer as a force for good is part of 4 Pines’ commitment to ‘Brew Better’. As proud 1% for the planet members, 4 Pines has provided $25,000 to Take 3 to help us reach our goal of removing 10 million pieces of rubbish from our oceans and waterways this year.
Chris Willcock, 4 Pines Chief Brewer said: “For us, it’s about our quest to leave the world better than we inherited it. Encouraging people to take small actions like doing a clean-up with mates is a no brainer.
“As a sustainable and community-minded brewery, being Take 3’s first official beach clean-up kit stockist is a further step in the right direction to tackle plastic pollution.
“Our venues have been plastic-free since 2016, and we keep implementing ways to reduce waste across our breweries and supply chain.”
We have a plastic pollution crisis, with Australia alone consuming 3.5 million tonnes of plastic every year, while only 9% of all the plastic ever produced has been recycled, 12% has been burned and the remaining 79% has ended up in landfills or the environment.
