Take 3 Partners with Underwater Photography Tour Awards 2022
Take 3 is excited to announce its partnership with the Underwater Tour Photography Awards 2022. The competition welcomes photographers from around the globe to take part in a prestigious annual photography competition celebrating the best of the world’s ocean and freshwater photography.
These prestigious photography awards feature six Categories, a People’s Choice Award, and the coveted Guru Grand Prize. This year’s categories are:
Underwater Black and White
New in 2022 is the Take 3 Photo Contest, which is open to everyone who snaps pictures on their phone or on any camera. This novice contest embraces the Take 3 for the Sea message – promoting real actions that are helping improve the health of our oceans.Separate from the main photography awards, photos entered into the Take 3 Photo Contest can be taken on any camera or device, above, in, around, or under any marine or freshwater area. The entrants will be judged on how well they communicate the Take 3 for the Sea story and message. All entry fees received in the Take 3 Photo Contest will be passed on to Take 3 for the Sea.
The organiser of the Awards, Darren Jew, explained that, “The competition showcases and celebrates the art of aquatic photography, with stunning images guaranteed to take us on an underwater tour depicting the wonder of life in aquatic environments. As partners together, The Underwater Tour Awards and Take 3 can amplify the wonder of the Underwater World and empower everyone to ‘take 3’ to protect it. It just makes sense’.
Jacquie Riddell, CEO of Take 3 for the Sea added, “We too are very excited by this collaboration. It’s a perfect match of like-minded organisations and people striving for the same outcome. And we are delighted to see the very first Take 3 Photo contest as part of the Awards.’
The competition is open for entries between August 15 and September 19, 2022. For information on how to enter, categories and prizes, head over to underwatertourawards.com.au.
